Youth Ministry

Who we are

The LSLC Youth Group consists of over THIRTY 7th through 12th graders.  

The Youth Group participates in fun, fundraiser and volunteer activities each month.  Fun activities include boating, paintball, ice skating, etc.  The Youth Group helps the church by volunteering in the City of Montgomery Christmas parade, providing Advent and Lenten Dinners and assisting with other church activities.  

The main Youth Group fundraiser is the annual Love Dinner held in February.  Events are planned by the youth during the January and August planning meetings. 

Youth Involvement

The LSLC Youth Board is responsible for sending out reminders, planning activities, and making some youth decisions.  New board positions are voted on each January.

Sunday School is a great opportunity to meet other Youth Group members while diving deeper into God's Word. Tom Fendia teaches the youth on Sunday mornings at 9:30 upstairs in the church.
